I lived in Las Vegas for awhile, so I can hang but my kids are little delicate PNW snowflakes. Anything about 75 and they are too hot.

I can empathize. I'm from Texas, but have spent a lot of time in Alaska. 85 in Texas? Downright dreamy. 85 in Alaska-- mmm, sounds toasty.

Same. I have a rule not to comment on the weather when it’s < 95F. Above 100, I start to wilt.

I love this lesson! I often use paintings to introduce literary periods and artistic movements, but I've never thought to have students collaborate on placing them in chronological order. I ask them to do something similar with writing samples on their final, though. Connecting art to literature excerpts would be a great review activity!
