I loved this! Libraries have meant a lot to me my whole life. This has given me a great idea for entertaining the kids over summer break. My 8 year old has been saying she wants to go on adventures and this is perfect!

Yay!! Lots of libraries have parks and playgrounds nearby, so this is a perfect kid goal. Iā€™m wondering if we should tackle the King County Library system next (they have 50+ šŸ˜…)

Even if you don't do all of King County, I highly recommend the Newport Way Library. I grew up going there, and there are reading spaces near these huge windows that make you feel like you're in a treehouse. It's a small library, but the vibes are immaculate.

What a lovely, rich post! This is a great celebration of local libraries. Here in Tokyo, I sometimes go to a public library, even though I can't read most of the books. I'm drawn by the atmosphere, I think.

I love this goal! I live in a new-to-me city, and youā€™ve inspired me to take this up. I chose my apartment because I can walk to the main branch. Now Iā€™m eager to see the others. Thanks for this!

There are 26 local library branches in DC. Iā€™m ashamed to say there are many I havenā€™t been to. I need to change that this year!

26 is do-able! It took me over a year to get to my 24 though, so maybe itā€™s harder than it sounds
