Eeee! I, too, love the Titanic. I did grow up with the whole Leo and Kate movie, but never saw the whole movie all the way through in one sitting until I was 18. And my first thought was - wait, this is good??? I also saw Titanique The Musical when I went to New York recently and it was pure camp - the movie as told through the point of view of Celine Dion. Highly recommend if you're already in New York and looking for more things to do.

If your daughter is looking for more Titanic books, I really loved the Dear America series as a kid and there's a Titanic one!

Oh thank you, she IS looking for more Titanic books! I'll have to grab that one for her.

We actually watched the movie after the museum as well, so now she's fully immersed.

Ooh yes total immersion I love it. The Dear America one isn’t as diverse as the book you mentioned, and may or may not majorly riff off of the movie, but I do remember enjoying it!

I've been wondering what/where that Titanic exhibit was about! Maybe I'll take my kids. Also, yes the corporate 5k stuff is ANNOYING

My kid LOVED it! We took the Sound Transit link down, so it was super easy :)

I feel like such a curmudgeon about my "not everyone should get a medal" complaints, lol.

haha. It's the obnoxious polyester t-shirts for these 5ks that I find every time I'm thrifting that bugs me. I guess that's just a general complaint. Every camp this summer has given my kids a t-shirt they'll never wear again, too.

I love it when they have a “no t-shirt” price

Oh nice, we’ve been wanting to go there! My teen has been fascinated about it since we watched the movie together. I’ll have to mention that book, thank you for sharing this!!
